Or (more helpfully ...) the rubbery black bits that your hands rest on from which the brake levers stick out! :thumbsup:

If you find that you do need to raise your handlebars and bring them closer to you, you could try flipping your handlebar stem over so it looks like mine:

It doesn't look quite as good as having the stem parallel to the ground, and you need to have enough spare cable to allow the bars position to be raised, but it might be worth trying.

Is the bike is actually the right size for you?

seems a bit small and the bars look particularly low compared to the seat - unless of course you're planning to race the TdF

ok, well i'm 6' 3" but had to swap in my 58 for a 62!

You look pretty upright so either you need to look at raising your bars, or altering your posture bending more at the hips and getting lower down, that way youll have more bent arms, which should ease the pain

however depending on your core strrength that might make things hurt elsewhere

No, that's what I thought too

Is it the Cubes which come up small? 58cm should be ok for a 6 footer I'd have thought
