Cycling in New York

cheers for the tips guys.

Aiming to get to the ESB before sunset with an express pass to get NYC by day and night.

Will hopefully circumnavigate the island by bike as Ianrauk suggested, and yes, the rockefeller centre looks good.

Any hotdog stands i should avoid?

well I'm just back from NY and didn't get time to circumnavigate Manhattan Island... we did however cycle down to Coney Island through Brooklyn and back to Manhattan along the coastal route... I even managed to remember the brakes were reversed for most of the ride, until a slight altercation with a big yellow taxi at which point i slammed on the back(front) brake, had a fight with inertia and somehow managed to stay upright... is it them who puts the brakes on wrong or us?
