I was going to mention that, great tape and very grippy even in the wet. Benetto also did a padded plastic tape which also did not let your hands slip in the wet. White was no problem as it was easy to clean.

I hate that cork rubbish, it neither looks right or feels right.

I must admit that when the black bar tape on my bikes started to look tatty I just rolled a layer of electrical tape over the top.

I have always gone with black but, thanks to a thread by woodbutcher on here, I decided to go red. Don't care what anyone thinks, I like it!

Your white bar tape is now all grey and manky. So what? If it puts a hurt on your eye, get a litre of isopropyl alcohol and a stiff nail brush.

Yep, been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

Tried red tape too, that got grubby as well, so I've got nice black Brooks leather on min now.

The white tape on the Felt has stood up pretty well.

To avoid looking like a cycling version of Knight Rider with an all black bike, I changed the seat and bar tape on the Pinnacle to brown faux leather, and it looks rather pleasant
