Went to Limes Farm in Farthinghoe (east of Banbury, north west of Brackley)

Cost me £10.90 for a cracking sausage sandwich and a latte. Latte wasn't the biggest. They had lots of home made cakes but I didn't have one.

Couple of benches outside, but if you went inside I didn't see anywhere to lock you bike up.

If I'm out that way again I would go again, despite the price, wasn't too long ago you could get a sausage or bacon sandwich and a go drink for a fiver. Mind you, I can remember when I could go out and get bladdered on a fiver and still have enough money left for chips on the way home.

A couple from me that I regularly go to and both are very bike friendly

The Grounds Cafe Fineshade MTB Centre - Top Lodge, Fineshade, Corby NN17 3BB - https://maps.app.goo.gl/KyEBqfoJTzPdb2Uw9 - https://groundscafe.uk/fineshade/

Holly Lodge Cafe - Holly Lodge Bungalow, Farm PE28 5XZ - https://maps.app.goo.gl/txsyhxoe4yQZg4Uo7 - https://www.hollylodge.org/

I could add more but these are the best ones within cycling distance of Peterborough. I couldn't figure out how to add them to the Cycle Chat Google map though.

I went to Holly Lodge last weekend, cracking cafe. Seemed very popular with cyclists.

Its always been good but they've went through 3 renovations making it (Holly Lodge) better still.

I've not got a picture of before but it was a more open barn with an unsealed floor and a mobile but made permanent coffee stall at the back IIRC It still served great cakes and was cyclist friendly 👍

You doing Cheddar Gorge @UphillSlowly , I did at monthly ago it's stunning watch out for the goats 🐐 if you descend it , I didn't cafe stop as I did it early there's plenty in Cheddar but they may get busy .I'd look for a cafe somewhere else on route that may be quieter

We went up Cheddar and by the time we got there it was busy! We actually had to forgo a cafe stop to get back to campsite for lunch. Wanted to get home to relieve the babysitter (Child 1)!
