With a real friend he is not on Facebook.We watched a 50 year special,what got me was how come some photos and film is crystal clear then some is dark and grainy,anyway as i stated i was not bothered then nor am i now.

I'm in the hoax camp. If man did land on the moon, where where the Clangers? They did not feature in any of the footage from the moon.

The Clangers were in the crater that Neil flew past, if you look carefully at some pictures you can see them waving. They landed too far away from the Clangers and didn't have enough fuel to go visit.

There were no clangers in any of the pictures, or the soup dragon, so it must have been faked.

So spoken to my mother about the moon landings and here is breaking news

"Yes. Dashed home from school with your brother to watch it. You were there but not really interested. "

So there you go. I was on the moon as a baby but not really interested.

Because some was filmed with slow scan television and beamed back Earth in real time on a very narrow bandwidth, and some was captured on high quality film cameras and developed once back om earth. Add to that hand held cameras and cine cameras of differing type and quality, and the nature and quality of images available today is very wide.

I recall Apollo 13 but not 11. Absolutely loved the trip to Kennedy Space Centre a dozen or so years back. Those Saturn Vs are just awesome. The alligators, too.

There is a very convincing critique of some of fakery in the photographs. Maybe the landings were real, but the photographic analysis suggest there was some malarkey going on

Looking at the curvature of the moon, they must be huge .

This is my class in 1969, the photograph was taken on the same day as the landing, after we all watched it on the 'big telly'. I was 5 at the time.

Nah that's fake. The moon landings, (Apollo 11 anyway) were in the school holidays
