I like London, particularly if a client is paying for me to be there cos it is somewhat pricey for a Norvern Mankey like me. Stayed at same place as Shawn Mendes this week (pop star and CK underwear model for us old fogeys)

My home town is 20 miles east of London: it's a great place for a Friday evening out or a visit at the weekend. There's something for everyone's tatses.

But to live there? Never. Too crowded and noisy for my liking. God folk, mind.

Possibly through that I bumped into a woman who denigrated other women's tits.

I never followed up on her implicit invitation to explore hers.

Manchester is I think I great city.

And re Bolton, I am at the moment reading the book by the Bolton forger.

I have spent the afternoon at the National Gallery. It’s free entry. There’s a wonderful collection of paintings. The street entertainment (also free but i chuck them a few bob) has been great. Today has been London at its best.

Don’t believe the miseries.....there’s a huge amount to do, lots to see and much of it is free.

Visited a few times. Scared hell out of folk on the underground by saying such things as "You first", "tis damp" to people blocking exits because of a light shower.

Loved living in London when I was on my 20's. Still enjoy going there a couple of times a week for work. Couldn't live in there now but would miss regular contact with the place.

Yup. Close to my thoughts and where all my biological family are from. I did 5 years and loved it in my 20s. I would go now just for the food and the experience of all the different cultures. And the bike shops. Now I’m in the West Country and I love it for different reasons.
