It has 8 million people of varying views. All of them awesome.

I like London, particularly if a client is paying for me to be there cos it is somewhat pricey for a Norvern Mankey like me. Stayed at same place as Shawn Mendes this week (pop star and CK underwear model for us old fogeys)

I think of London as I do Manchester...
An ugly blight on the landscape and should be wiped from the face of the planet by a billion strong army of rabies infested cockroaches.
now now vantage.

A bit extreme.

Manchester is I think I great city.

And re Bolton, I am at the moment reading the book by the Bolton forger.

Interesting character indeed.

Am lucky live on the outskirts. Eeasy to get into if i need to. But dont bother to often. Its mostly a over priced shoot hole now.
I think to be honest derrik it would be better if it was still, at least partly, a "shoot hole"

I have spent the afternoon at the National Gallery. It’s free entry. There’s a wonderful collection of paintings. The street entertainment (also free but i chuck them a few bob) has been great. Today has been London at its best.

.....and I got to see one of my favourite paintings

Don’t believe the miseries.....there’s a huge amount to do, lots to see and much of it is free.

Loved living in London when I was on my 20's. Still enjoy going there a couple of times a week for work. Couldn't live in there now but would miss regular contact with the place.

Yup. Close to my thoughts and where all my biological family are from. I did 5 years and loved it in my 20s. I would go now just for the food and the experience of all the different cultures. And the bike shops. Now I’m in the West Country and I love it for different reasons.
