Anyway, Curly Wurlies are bigger and size, when it comes to anything with chocolate involved in it, is everything

Not by much !

When compared by weight. 26g compared with 23.5 g

Allegedly the Curly Curly was 500 mm when first launched and is now only 150 mm

Then again try doing this with a Chomp:

Curly Wurly Stretch

Current Record

The furthest a Curly Wurly has been stretched in three minutes is 285.5 cm (9 ft 4 in)

by Tracy Jane Sullivan (UK) at The Lip smacking Chocolate Festival, Frome in 2011.

Definition of Record

• This record is for the greatest length a Curly Wurly confectionery can be stretched

in three minutes.

• This is to be attempted by an individual.

• This record is measured in metres and centimetres, with the equivalent imperial

measurement also given in feet and inches.

General Guidelines

• A stretch is only valid if at least one section of the caramel lattice is intact.

• The stretched Curly Wurly must be measured on a flat surface.

• The event is continuous. The clock does not stop.

• The participant may take as many breaks as he/she wishes, but the clock may

not stop at any time for any reason.

• A loud start and finish signal recognized by all participants must be used

Leave a Chomp in your pocket on a decent bike ride. Take it out the packet and stretch the warm bar into a hideously deformed elongated shape. Put it on a hard surface and jab your keys, with enough force to pierce it, a dozen times. Voila, a Curly Wurly.

There was a story going around our department about one of the staff who had caught her 16 year old daughter and her boyfriend "in flagrante"

Being mature, she did not over react, waited until boyfriend had gone home and discussed the situation and whether they had used contraception

Apparently it was unplanned, but they had used a Curly Curly wrapper

Sounds like it wasn't unplanned

Wrapper? Wish I'd thought of that. We've used the Curly Wurly. Didn't work.

I had a serious Twix habit during the summer of '92 when Twix had free next bar voucher or free gold bar voucher inside selected wrappers. You could read the voucher from the outside if you knew how.
I went cold turkey after a Twix advert featured dork-on-a-bike vs cool guy in car with Twix and a girl.
Twix advertising dept may have redeemed themselves:
