Bangladesh take disgraceful to a new level today... the appealed Matthew's for timed out because his helmet strap broke as he tightened it before facing his first ball and then waited for another to be brought out. I think the umpire should have stopped that happening. maybe call dead ball or smething.

That seems to be the verdict. Reminds me a bit of Carey's dismissal of Bairstow in summer. Technically nothing wrong with it, but really not in the spirit of the game.

Allegedly the umpires asked the fielding captain twice if he'd like to withdraw the appeal. Very bad sportsmanship.

Well, I didn't expect Afghanistan to get as close to 300! This could be a cracking chase.

to try to speed it up a little, 3 mins is "all cricket" so covers tests and first class cricket, 2 mins adopted for this tournament given its "tournament cricket and 100 overs is a lot to get in a day. that's all rather irrelevant though

They deserve to. Their scorecard is impressive, with only one poor score from Nabi, though a couple of 50s would have helped enormously.
