They won't. A draw, helped by the weather, is the best they can hope for at this point.

Putting them back in was totally the right move. They'll be utterly knackered when it comes to defending whatever low total it is we are set.

Knackered? - their 3 pace bowlers spent a 2 days with their feet up and faced 18 balls between them

I agree enforcing follow on was correct, as the wicket is getting easier and easier to bat on, setting a total would have been a tricky call, and our bowlers were fresh at the time we enforced it. Fair play to Williamson and Blundell, they have made a game of it. I expect England to chase it down relatively easily tomorrow.

Yeah, knackered. Which they are currently.

I suppose I should clarify, not just in a physical sense.

We'll still win this pretty easily I reckon. NZ are still 24 behind and 3 wickets down.

A reasonable fightback, but I can't see them posting any kind of meaningful total to chase.

Hmm, not quite Mystic Meg, yet! 😉
Sounds like another great game of cricket played between two sides who play hard and positive (but without the nastiness, as demonstrated far too often by the Aussies) and who like and respect each other. 👏👏

Well done New Zealand. England's game currently is high risk, win or lose, always a feast for the spectators. Long may it continue, without it test cricket may disappear.

Test cricket won't disappear, despite the best efforts of folk trying to kill it off it hasn't happened.
