Could also be Mapplethorpe if he were into industrial photography. Oo-er missus!

Was thinking more Bernd and Hiller Becher.

It's one of a pair of Stothert and Pitt cranes at Canary Wharf.

If you adjust the speed to 0.25 on the YT settings, you can see a couple shooting stars as well.:becool:

I’ll take a look at the stills, I noticed a plane on them and a possible satellite but didn’t see any shooting stars. There is a meteor shower around now though, think it peaks in a few days.

I went back to my Mapplethorpe, and despite it being such a colourful one, thought that for ultimate Mapplethorpe, it needs to be in B&W. The naughtiness is strong enough that I think it works equally well, as all those lines still just draw one in to where the flower wants visitors. I upped the contrast a bit and darkened it a touch.

Could well be plane or satellite, they looked like shooting stars probably because of the speed

RJS is bucking the trend.

True and Pross and others. Clear blue skies today (phew, no rain), so when I said I might take something else, it probably is a might. I think I get a bit lost in these conditions with no waves.

Strolling down to offload rubbish at the village déchetterie, I had a feeling there might be some good light... the opposite way round to normal, when the mountain catches the last of the evening light, and the village is cast into shade. A good day for clouds.

It’s good to see the mountains again.
Re light, It feels like good light or sky interest has been a bit scarce for a while now, with the weather switching between flat grey, torrential rain and then featureless blue sky. At least blue is pleasant to be out in.
A bit of abstract with waterfall closeups at my fastest shutter speed to freeze the motion. I thought there might still have been some motion blur, but it appears not. Cone of the day and finally a path.
