Councils and potholes.

i work on the council filling holes, and we use a machine called "the Jetpatcher", we can knock out around 100 potholes aday, we are busy busy busy lol

A council estate near me has dreadful potholes in its surface, yet the local authority are busy replacing all the pavement slabs with tarmac.

In fact every council estate around here has dreadful roads - because they are all that slab concrete stuff that has shifted and is past its sell by date...

This thread has reminded me that I need to report more potholes that I took photos of yesterday. I normally find http://www.fillthathole.org.uk/ works quite well, but I've not been having much success recently, and have a number of potholes that have been outstanding for a while. (Though I think I have been reporting them on the fix my street website - I'll go back to the CTC one and see if I get more success).
