Still part of the team !
I'm now favouring Andrew BR's Marathon Supremes, if they'll fit under the mudguards

Have a look at the German web suppliers for good prices eg:-

I got my 2nd pair (the 28mm) from one of these sites. I can't remember which.

My LBS give me hefty discounts on parts but they couldn't get close to these prices.

Having recently fitted some Panaracer Pasela's I can't see myself going back to slicks for the current wet/greasy/mucky roads.

I have a pair of paselas that I haven't used yet, but I've heard reports that they're no better than continental gatorskins when it comes to wet weather grip, but equally I've seen reports that they grip fine. I wonder what your experience is?

Michelin Pro 4, fantastic tyre, confortable, fast, grippy in wet or dry and doesn't seem to cut up as much as the Pro 3s did. £22.00 if you look around.

I've found wet weather grip to be good. I won't say excellent, but better than the others I have (gatorskin, marathon, rubino, diamante, spesh all condition pro, and even an old pair of the infamous Krylion carbons I still have).
My 'test' is on the bend of stretch of a fast downhill that always has sandy/muddy run-off from a field combined with diesel spills from vans.
Whatever tyre, I can always feel the bike slide a little. But least of all with Pasela's.
I've found them to perform better than pure slicks on rough roads and especially on the ones the council decided to resurface by just dumping a load of gravel on the road.
The only downside is that the tread does pick up small stones, but nothing has gotten through, yet!

All of the above is subjective, of course, and could be a load of rubbish ;)

Thanks, had a quick look and the prices are good. Now depends on the LBS confirming the widest tyre to fit under my (essential) mudguards
