There are occasions when driving my own car that I have almost failed to see another car approaching from the right , as the A-pillar is exactly in the way. I amRollon said:Re that last post. In my case I left plenty of room and at the point of collision just before my exit (Which was very close to the 2 lanes coming on to the roundabout) I was slightly to the right of the primary postion. This guy didnt go so far and brake, he braked and then accelerated then braked hard as I was in front of him. I felt sure he was going to get me full on. I think his wife who had seen me clearly, had shouted to him, I dont hink he saw me at all until he hit me, thankfully by then I was almost past him.

At the end of the day the fee's will all be swallowed up by Solicitors.
I had a no fault accident and the other persons insurance contacted me to arrange settlement.

Good luck.
Get back out on that bike as soon as you can. The longer the leave it, the worst the fear.
Rollon said:Well got my bike back a couple of days ago (Spec Tricross) and apart from a bit of A road I went for a spin on the local cycle paths. I have also recently got a Merlin MTB. I def have more control with the Merlin than the Tricross. Probably the difference between straights and drops, but also as the wheelbase is longer in the Tri it is not as sharp in the handling. Obviously built for a different requirement but it has got me wondering if I might be better suited to a bike with straights instead or should I just persevere and try and get used to it.
