I'm tempted as I may be heading Peak District-wards at this time and it's only step further oop north. Time off work might be potentially tricky as I haven't been in my present job that long....we'll see.

I'm really tempted by this one (probably the 60 miler) but don't know at the moment whether A: I'd definitely be available and B: how I'd work out the logistics.

logistically wise, if you can get yourself to Northwich area we can always assist - or any railway station between here and there. Our bike rack will take up to 4 bike and we now have a car with 4 working doors again... garage are still mumbling on about having to drill a lock out because it was that terminal with the fault but it is now functional again!

I have yet to convince the wife that it is a good idea to let me out all day on the one day of the week were both off work, so hopefully I can convincer her I need to be out there.

Well that did not go to well ,,, upon pointing out the benefits of me cycling all day, she pointed out that last month I booked and paid for a weekend at a Haven in Cala Gran, Duh

What about that fella who organised the Rochdale to Blackpool ride? I can't remember his forum name, I've seen him a few times on my uni commute and he's got a road bike now. The one where @potsy did his first 100 miler.
