well its seems to be the only way to keep the thread moving as seen in the tea room. perhaps we aught to have some furniture too, maybe one day we will knock through and have a hatch between the 2 rooms.

I like that idea. As a mod, I'll see if I have a special "knock through with a hatch" button....

Furniture is good. In Tea? we have sofas and all sorts. Even a pool, with sun loungers....

pool??? when that get installed, planning permission????

Decaff for me please. Don't need the stimulus of the caffeine!

Can 'Coffee' survive when 'Tea' is so well established? Is this latest attempt going to succeed where previous efforts have failed? Is there room for both? Only time will tell...

The two are not in competition really. If coffee succeeds, it does so on its own merits... After all, I'm sad enough to be posting in both!

Oh dear, will we have to have rules? Only 'real' coffee drinkers allowed etc. After all, aren't teabag users frowned upon in the tearoom? But then, maybe coffee drinkers are more catholic in their beliefs. What about word association, having said catholic we could move to religion - that would be a way to keep the thread going. What about rambling about nothing at all - at least that added one more post. Jez, I've had too much coffee today. Jez!! - bloody religion again...........................................

I think there was a little of that in the early days, but we've mellowed a lot....

Decaff is 21st century coffee. :becool:

Plus it helps me confine my rambling to that I do intentionally on my bike.

No it's spelt differently!
It's been Scorchio here in the Toon so for today only I will mainly be serving iced coffee.

Though to be fair it's just yesterdays Hot Lava Java that I stuck in the fridge!

Have you got some ice cream? I like those desserts which are based on coffee but have a large dollop (like that word - dolllloooopppp) of ice cream. The coffee bit needs to be chilled so that the ice cream does not melt straight away. And you could sprinkle some chocolatey bits on the top. OOOOppps I'm starting to sound like Sally out of "When Harry met Sally".:biggrin:
