Hi
Looking for some advice on clipless pedals.
I joined a road club on Sat and a few of the guys suggested that I move to clipless pedals and road shoes.
They recommend Look pedals. Any thoughts on these and suggestions for road shoes? The pedals will be going onto a Bianchi Via Nirone 7.
Do they take much getting used to?
Cheers
Yes, move up to clipless, you can't beat em. In my book, Look is the best system, after all they did invent it. As for shoes, try Sidi. However, I find them a bit on the chilly side in winter, so you will need a decent pair of socks & overshoes. Also Sidi are a very tight Italian fit, so make sure you try before you buy. One other point with clipless, start with relaxed float cleats & be prepared to come to some grief & collect a bit of road rash at first, anyone that tells you they made the change & hasn't is probably a liar!
