I'm entered. (Finally after a frustrating number of times being thorwn out the website!) Forgot to put Cyclechat as my group though so not registered in the group.

Entered for the 100 miler. Looking forward to taking on the Mow Cop...is it Steeper than Blissford hill in the New Forest does anyone know?

I know its got a big name but £33 is a lot for a few energy bars when other events are around the £20.

I am quite happy to pay the money if it worth it but i am struggling to see why it costs so much.

Just entered myself for the 100 miler, I did the 45 this year so I am hoping to do well at the longer route.

I managed to get 25% off with voucher code "thecat2012", it was in an email I received from KTG earlier in the week.

I may do the 100. Did it two years ago with 39 x 24 on the back for Mow Cop - only needed the 24 again at Winkle but was spinning. But my shoulder is worse post op, so unless I sort out a new bike with a compact, I'll not be riding any 1 in 4 gradient.

And no, walking up Mow Cop is NOT an option even with my gears - the shame  .

bugs me slightly that you have to log in to see the route.

Usually very local to me, but a bit early in the season if you've no way to train through an icy winter. Will probably give it a miss.

I'm doing the 100 mile option on Saturday 5th Nov. Mow Cop isn't that bad, honestly.

5th Nov, on yer own ?

Mow Cop isn't bad, it's finding a space to get up the steep bit like has been said. If you fall off or walk, get off the bloody road and don't walk up the flippin middle.

It's how I tend to ride all my, ahem "sportives". Mow Cop will be almost traffic free when I do it, so will a lot of the rest of the route, too.
