Apart from the appointment of admins to help it run smoothly, I can't see the need for titles or seniority of any kind on an internet forum to be honest.

Hard to believe there really are people who actually compete with each other to have the most number of posts...

Surely, any system that 'rewards' numbers of posts can't be good. It encourages a lessening in the quality of them. Some of the 'wisest' heads on the forum IMO have very low post counts.

Break points can be anywhere you like 0-9, 10-29, 30-74, 75-200, etc.
