Oh TVC

So ( :banghead:)

when @potsy "turns the wheel around" it is a single speed freewheel (so his little spotty leggies are not turning like whirlwinds downhill)

whilst yours, does not turn around and is not freewheel it is fixed and your long manly leggies* pedal downhill like the strong manly wind? You have grown a beard and now carry a satchell?

(*Disclaimer: I have to say that after my 4 y/o daughter subjected TVC & Lu to an account of what happens when you eat sweetcorn)
Everything you have said is correct, except for the beard :okay:

I'd forgotten about the sweetcorn xx(

I think you must be talking hypothetically as everyone knows TVC's 'fixie' has not been out of the garage for years

May add that I also recently found out what exactly "flipping of the wheel" meant by watching a video @potsy linked to?
Previously I had imagined it meant flipping the actual cog, could not really see how this cog could have 2 sets of teeth
One can acquire quite a bit of bike mechanic terminology by reading the know-how section, it does not necessary result in knowing what it means
May I also say that random, unfounded, accusation of trolling by long standing members of this forum to other long standing members of this forum are a bit ...

Whats a freewheel? I thought fixed wheel you did not have gears? or is it that you just have one cog and one gear and so you need to change the gear to one that suits you?
Freewheel can also be the bit with cogs attached on a derailleur bike, as opposed to one with a cassette and freehub. See http://www.sheldonbrown.com/free-k7.html
