Scotland : Edinburgh & Lothians CC Ecosse RV ride - Sat 15th February

@ScotiaLass, you really needn't worry about holding anybody up for the couple of miles along the road into Linlithgow ... as you may have gathered from any of the CC Ecosse threads, we are all quite relaxed about speed and the chat is more important than anything else. [Disclaimer: Occasionally the boys get a bee in their bonnet and try to outdo each other on a wee climb or downhill - in which case they just wait for the slowcoaches to catch up when they get there ]. I am sure they will be on their best behaviour if you let them escort you.

Alternatively, I could ride through Linlithgow from the east along the Canal and pick you up at B-road turn-off, if a ladies-only escort (picking my words carefully here ) would make you happier . We can just play it by ear and see what you want to do nearer the time, if you like!

All is great, Jr (I can't call him shoogly because his feet work ) is doing fantastic he's awake more and interacting with us, not quite on the bike yet, but enjoying every minute!

This is the official PFS route, on Garmin. Probably better off with Rasmus' route since it avoids Airdrie...

Having done both - twice - can confirm that Rasmus' route is better
Cannot commit yet due to work and Belles stuff

I believe it's Linlithgow ... whenever ... wherever ... whatever the weather ...

Well I left the specifics open for discussion. But it seams a reasonable consensus has been reached:

Location: The Coffee Neuk, The Cross, Linlithgow (or the other one across the square if this one is too full)

Time: Sat 15th February, 1230 pm

Fingers crossed we don't get a big blast of winter messing it up ... although the RV is ideal for letting the train take the strain if necessary, just like for the Christmas lunch .

Looks like it's a bit wild in the West again , over here it's 'only and so far, but the clouds are gathering now...
We'll definitely have an extra hour of daylight at least by mid-Feb, gaining 0.5 hours every week now .

I've got that weekend off there was a Belles ride on the Sunday that got moved to the Saturday: @Ellebells and I wanted to do both
