Route 1 goes through Dumbarton before turning off onto the River Leven route
Right, my precious
Have we decided on route 3 .... or not??
I'm NOT doing route 1 btw, once is enough for a lifetime ^_^
Are we agreed we do route 3 and pick up @bigjim near the golf course?
I've put route 3 in my Garmin now, so if us girls are a bit slow you racers can stretch your legs. Plenty of shops in Aberfoyle anyway
Are we agreed? I need to give the girls a meeting place and time.
SECC at 9.45 for 10: us 4 girls, @mcshroom, @DougieAB, you and @Harry_Palmer79.
Are we agreed? :smooch:

Ok who are we missing then? Somebody else was coming to Glasgow by train, or am I mistaken?
What do you mean "maybe Scoosh"? You not well? :hugs:

It was always the case that me, Maddie, Scoosh and Dougie were meeting up to ride together to Callander.

Can I mention that turning right just prior to Aberfoyle and then later on a left still takes you to Callander without having to climb the Dukes Pass.
I thought that would be easier than climbing the pass. Oh and it's 3 miles shorter!

True, but:

1: That road is significantly busier
2: Duke's Pass, while fairly tough, is a very rewarding climb with great views and a lovely decent on smooth tarmac (at least last time I was there...)
