One of my earliest memories of Cav was a post race interview very early in his career (probably a tour stage). He'd just not won.

Reporter. "What have you learned from today, Mark?" (Sticks mic under Cav's nose)

Cav (face like thunder): "Nothin'" (rides off)

My favourite Tour stage ever was 2013(?) his first season with QS. There were crosswinds and I think Kwiat gave Cav a (illegal) hand sling and he got into the leading break where QS and Saxo rode like demons for Cav and Bertie get away from the other sprinters and the GC respectively. Naturally Sagan was in the break too, and Cav won the stage.

It was this one 2013, stage 13. Crosswind chaos.
