I'm reminded of an Alexei Sayle skit where he was playing Noah telling his neighbour that God had told him to build an ark so many cubits long and so forth. The neighbour asks "how long is a cubit anyway?". Noah replies, "About three quarters of a millimetre isn't it" and holds up the small model boat he's built
