I just confirms my belief that preppers are bonkers.
Who wants to live in a post apocalyptic bunker, rather than die in the initial attack?

I read that as "Peppers are bonkers", a sentiment I could wholeheartedly agree with.

At the risk of being serious (sorry!) the sad thing about preppers is that they seem more concerned about being self sufficient and shooting other survivors rather than the need for cooperation, and being part of a tribe each member contributing a specialised skill - farming, blacksmith, builder, doctor etc

Anyhow, as you were - carry on with jokes

I've noticed this too, not least on "post apocalyptic" films like Mad Max, where apparently isolated and barbaric tribal groups manage to sustain a global trade network to keep their vehicles working perfectly in the middle of a desert.

Don’t forget “These include a management consultant, a woman working in marketing, a hairdresser, a producer named Finlon, and at least one life insurance salesperson”

The Golgafrinchans

But remember they were eventually wiped out by a virulent plague caught from an especially dirty telephone.

Years later we had telephone sanitisers doing the rounds of my company and it was a "My God, Douglas Adams didn't make this up!" moment. That or life imitating art
