carrera???

I've got a Carrera Vanquish and a Kraken both great quality for the price and after initial set up have been no problem for last 2 years.

they do seem to keep lowering the spec though and have recently stopped putting the specs on the web site.

iv'e noticed the specs dropping myself a guy went past me on the new brown carrera (kraken maybe?) and the spec was no where near mine!??
was looking at a boardman mike online at halfords for £999 and the spec was almost the same as mine.....avid brakes,jucey gears,sram system almost exactly whats on my bike so don't think they are the only ones changing the spec down an alot of bikes!

I've been on a Virtuoso for two years and just handed it on to No1 son with it passing a bloody good inspection with minimal service.
Youngest has had a Luna for over 12 months and again its great.

They roll out of Halfords in a poor state depending on which spotty teen set them up, but anyone with a bit of bike know how can adjust them properly.

Yes most are lowering spec probably only way to keep costs down but my point was more about the way Halfords have recently stopped listing the spec and just give a quick overview of the bikes making it very hard to compare to others. Although stranegly they have put the spec page back on some bikes but not all unless they are still working on it.
