Wow - That's amazing. I had no idea that Jack Hearne was a local proper cyclist.
That article is brilliant. I know Stoke Poges really well. The bike hasn't travelled far at all. I bought it from the wife of a chap in Slough who had ridden it for years.
I've had the bike for probably just over 20 years. I'm so glad I took a photo of the frame sticker.

Have just done a bit more research. Jack died down in Blandford Forum in around 2010/11 as far as i can gather.
