Yes, I'm on the narrow profile set up.

I'm using exal LX17 rims. I'm also using tektro levers. I must measure the distance of the cable to pivot and compare with the shimano levers on my tourer to see if that's the issue. Thanks for your input chaps!

Thanks for the info, I don't think it's the rims but I might try longer V-brake pads if I can't get to the bottom of it. That's got to help!
