Went to your link The story of the FedEx arrow. Still don't know as when I saw the size of the page describing it, my intrigue for knowing was lost....thanks for posting but I think I'll just ring Tom Hanks as I'm sure he researched it for his film when he spent a lot of time talking to a football......

I do still deal with one firm that sends letters written on a typewriter and by the look of it, an old style one with real ribbon for the ink. Oddly though they do use email so I really cannot work out why the typewriter is still in use. I walked past the office on a hot day with their window open and you could hear the keys clattering away. Don't hear that anymore.
