what software do I need on my pc can i use to import the data (.tcx file?) generated by recording a ride? I don't seem to have anything that can do that at the moment.
I can do it using motionbased.com but that's web-based, what if let's say i'm disconnected from the internet>?

Garmin Training Centre software should come on a CD with the hardware, or download from :
