Well I have now had a message from the organiser of the trip, with a very helpful list of things I might want to take....
I will see what skolly has of the list and go from there

Potsy has just driven off with all my best camping gear, including my whistling kettle. Hope I've not made a mistake entrusting my stuff to such an incapable camper?

Tent is going to be like a palace for such midget....
