I'm after a small lock to go in my jersey pocket for cafe stops and the like.

I'm aware that "small" and "lightweight" translate as "next to worthless" as far as locks are concerned, but it's not intended to withstand a prolonged attack, just stop someone wandering off with my bike while I get the cake in.

I found the Knog Milkman, which fits the bill being lightweight (110g) and compact (75x75x20mm): any alternative suggestions?

If you want to go as light as possible, a good strong tie wrap and a pair of small nail clippers.^_^

Thanks, looks good: no keys mean one less thing to carry (or lose).

Good idea LD, but I bite my nails so have no clippers...

The EBC have discontinued their cafe lock for some reason, I thought it was perfect for the job like the Squire one but with a key. Maybe the majority don't want a key but I prefer one it means I don't have another pin/code to remember and sods law I'd remember it everytime but that once when I need to leave a cafe in a hurry.
On the key type, I bought a very small Oxford Cable lock its small and light enough to go in the jersey pocket.
I quite like the Safeman lock when I seen it too.

The Squire (excellent value) and Safeman look good: thanks; but Slowmotion, the idea of wrapping things around my seatpost fills me with horror! Whatever next? A *shudder* tailpack?

The alarm lock is a neat idea, definitely worth considering.

The Hiplok is also a novel solution, but too substantial for my needs; I also think it would clash with my Molteni replica jersey...
