If you did, you'd find that Mudders' use made sense. She is at liberty to choose her own words, I believe?

Did someone question my taking liberties with wurd usage??

Whatever next .??

So gardening is ok.
Despite not being very cycling related

Presumably farming too.??

I hope so, cos I do go on about that a bit too.

Price of food.??

Also related to farming, and how it's done.

People worried about their incomes, and managing to pay their fuel bills.

They should just shut up about all that because it might make some people feel uncomfortable.

They should also shut up about how safe or otherwise , they feel out cycling by themselves.

Or are those last two allowed ??
they are all allowed, if you dont make them political.....pretty simple really

the point in bold can be discussed here https://naca.cyclechat.net/ and not here https://www.cyclechat.net/

Sorry, are you saying that you think people shouldn't be discussing their budgeting worries, or their personal safety out and about, on this forum?

It's not entirely clear from your post, which you mean .

Can I discuss the state of the roads where I live? I broke my pelvis and a couple of ribs back in June whilst cycling and hitting a really bad pothole. The poor condition is widely accepted as being down to a lack of funding from national government to local government. This has a direct impact on cyclists, is political and really needs highlighting. Can I not speak of such things on a cycle forum?

Owsers.

That must have hurt like b*ggery.

Hope it's mending ok.

But no it would seem that such causes and effects.

Actions (or inactions) and their consequences, that can be attributed to the bigger picture.??

Not allowed, we all pretend it it's 'luck' or lack of..

Hope it hasn't put you off cycling though.

Have you tried?

I'll assume (for now) that this is the first time you've posted about it. Why not wait for the reactions? Perhaps no-one will call it Too Political, and then off you go, feel free to discuss it! (Perhaps not ... we shall see ... )

as long as its not political yes they can.....if its political, no they cant - it can be discussed without it becoming another session of political soap boxing

again the worrying times thread has been closed twice by the mods for cleaning up of the thread to remove political content and members asked not to do it........
