Can't spell, Can't Punctuate....Sue Me
It could be seen as passive aggressive.
But its not……….

i believe i said we all agree....i didnt say i speak on behalf of all CC members, but as with others in this thread, you just want to court argument out of nothing

personally i think if you dont want to see what i post, you can do what many CC members have done ( and discussed between them ) and put me on ignore......

what we do agree on, is i don't particularly care what you think

What point are you making exactly?

I imagine that Sabina Nessa's friends, family, primary school-aged pupils and many other people besides will all care very much about another senseless loss of life.
I don't think the comment is aimed at the poor lady. Using human tragedy to burnish your colours is not considered appropriate in many quarters. I not sure if the family appreciates her photo appearing in a cycling forum of all places. Were they even asked?

Who is it aimed at then??

There's a long and inglorious history of not caring about, or really wanting to do much about violence against women .

On here as elsewhere.

Any threads about it get closed down, or turned into something else.

The issue is portrayed as 'political'

Drawing attention to an unsolved murder case is not 'burnishing colours'.

Publicity has deliberately been stepped up as the killer is still at large.

If someone murders me I hereby give notice that Claud can fulsomely display my picture until and beyond the time that my killer is found.

Fear of violence, or harassment from men, is the most commonly cited reason as to why more women don't go out cycling, and cycle touring by themselves..

So I don't get the 'cycling forum' of all places jibe.

You'd think more people here would care about it more, not less.

But there we are.

Perhaps threads would stay open for longer if they weren't punctuated by suggestions that members of this forum are complicit in the murder of women.
