Buying a female Roadbike or not?

My lady rides bikes equipped with campag because she says shimano levers are too big for her hands and finds problems with braking on long hills on them this of course is the reason for cross top brakes on women's bikes giant seem to fit them on their avails as standard- the other thing she has is a fairly short stem and of course a womans saddle
I have said this quite often. Not only are Campagnolo brakes far more effective, they also fit women's small hands far better. The change up to the big ring is also far easier with Campagnolo, again, especially if you have small hands. I suspect most bikes are designed by and for men. getting the fit right is far more difficult, especially for petite women.

Seeings I was one of only three gals on my undergrad Mech & Automotive course, that's probably about right. And yeah, it's a pain trying to find a bike that fits when you're as short as me. I've always rode junior bikes tbh. Downside though is there's a lot less choice in bikes, accessories and consumables.
