Yes it is good - makes a big difference.
As I understand it you can now take any number of buses within an hour - you just have to board the last one within the hour.

70 minutes in fact if talking about the London Hoppa fare...I’ve been on lots of buses these past few weeks I snuck 3 in earlier today

I enjoy cycling past buses with my bus pass in my pocket.
Rarely use it in Glasgow but it's good for longer journeys.
Used it to get from Glasgow to Kirkwall a few times. Had to pay on the ferry though.

On the rare occasion i visit another city and use their buses, I'm always flabbergasted at the cost of a ticket... they seem reasonable! Around Lancaster & Morecambe, they're extortionate! (probably the reason i ride a bike)
