Can't say I remember having drunk Bud since I was about 16. It was ok then. Better than Becks.

I don't mind a lager. And tbh if it wasn't for lager options in pubs for several decades we'd have had a lot more bars closing down as it seems to be the mainstay volume drink

Lager, generally, has always tasted like shoot.

It took me twenty years of laughing at Budweiser before I realised the joke was on me. It has everything you want from lager, without the shitty lager taste!

I will accept that a cold San Miguel on a baking hot day tastes great, but Sol needs that lime.

Pale Ale is like a double whammy. You were thick enough to think you like the taste of lager? Well drink this and we’ll really see how thick you are! Boom - instant sales.

The Czech brew is good, but even with my low standards, I realise that the US version and its Euro-piss cousin are pretty hateful.

It's an ok beer, refreshing. As a one time real ale appreciator, I'm now past all that. Fed up of people telling me what beer I should enjoy. ...

My brother's one of those and will talk endlessly about his pint of 'real ale'. At the end of the day, lager drinkers have got better things to talk about.
