I wanted to see a feral parrot in the UK. I've just seen one in Hyde Park. I was told that you can hear them before you see them. I heard a 'kak-kak-kak' noise, looked up and there it was.

I used to see them when I regularly visited a place in Bexley about 20 years. I personally have never seen a live Badger, Whale or a Slow Worm. These are not 'bucket list' things as such, though.

Saw dozens of slow worms when i lived in Dorset, plus i stood on an Adder once.
Neither, unfortunately, were on my bucket list.
*edit, i'll 'add' that I trod on said Adder heatwave year, 1976. A year after the last person in the UK died from a bite off one of the blighters.

Not my fault that cameras were about. Ruling the Universe wasn’t a bucket list item, just got on with it.
