Btwin bikes......any good ?

Just that really, looking at a upgraded next summer and a few guys are saying there comparable to the same spec specialised but at half the price? Are they talking rubbish?

Given a free choice between a Specialized and B'Twin I would choose the Specialized without doubt. They are not the same bike with a different logo. However, the B'Twins are generally great value bikes, so well worth a look.

There's no point really looking now as there'll be different bikes and deals next Summer. I personally wouldn't by either with my own brand preferences, there are about 30+ others to choose from

The components might be the same on BTWIN and Specialized but the latter make more advanced frames...not to say BTWIN are bad, they offer good value at their price point

Friend has a nice btwin alur, says it's great. To be honest I didn't want a Matt black stealth bomber look bike again, loads of bikes seen to look the same, even my rubbish Zelos is Matt black. Had my head turned by the Ribble Gran Fondo...... it's beautiful

Haha sorry guys I absolutely love THE STUFF not been cycling long but I really enjoy it.....used to run and play football and all you could really talk about was footwear. Cycling has endless gadgets and I get to wear pink Lycra and feel ok haha

You need to factor in after sales service too, which I have found to be a bit hit and miss at Decathlon - though I understand this varies from store to store.

Hard to beat them on value, you just may be better of taking them elsewhere once purchased.

A believe everyone should follow @vickster 's advice. That way I will become individual with my Matte Black bike.

In saying that, it's a Matte Black Bianchi running Ultegra, so that's individual enough in Bianchi circles. lol.

Just in case you are unaware - the wheels in the picture are an optional upgrade on the bike - probably at least £800. So don't get too excited.
