No I realised that the bike is "from £756" guessing you get nowt except the frame and standard everything else. I just wanted to look pro while spinning my legs on the little cog getting dropped going over a hump back bridge

Slightly off thread topic but the OP started it- the £756.95 for the Ribble does not buy you those wheels/ components with that frame- on the builder if you wish to combine those two you'll need to dig for an extra £655.45 just for the wheels and then start upgrading the Sora that it comes with at that price.
Very careful use of the word 'from....'

Cross post- sorry.

I have a triban 3 it was my first road bike and did a good job but after having a ride of my husbands Merida with much better spec and about half the weight I have realised its time to upgrade. I think they are good starter bikes but if your into hills etc and longer rides then i would go better

Now't wrong with Btwin as long as you spend enough, the Triban 3 was/is good value for a started bike and they do some nice more expensive bike.

Remember - 'it's not about the bike'.

Plenty, depends on what you like, are looking for and how much you want to spend - there are bright blues, greens, reds, oranges, yellows. They tend to use different colours for different models

Or Trek do bespoke paint jobs if you have DEEP pockets (as do other companies like Parlee, if you have REALLY deep pockets)!!

Haha my budgets around the £700-800 mark. I looked at the Specialised Allez sport in green, but I'm convinced I can get a better specced bike for the cash. I hear good things about having shimano 105 on a bike and some of the btwin bike have this. I really don't know enough however

Evans have some bright colours in their Pinnacle range. Felt have done some lairy colours. You can always update components as funds permit

For £800, I'd expect Tiagra or 105 (or the SRAM Apex/rival equivalent). Planet X do their carbon models in bright red or blue (the RT58 alu is a lovely metallic blue too). Their shops can't be far from you

You need about 3-5k for the Treks I think and more for Parlee

I'm lucky enough to work directly opposite Evans. Did have a look at the pinnacles and they seem pretty good. 3k is never going to happen, my friend came to visit from jersey and rocked up on a Scott addict, with di2! He proceeded to drop the rest of us at even opportunity. I hope he says in jersey ;)
