I will probably wear them over the top

My winter cruisers arrived but they are too big so will have to go back, they do seem nice and thick, so will try the smaller size. They are very baggy compared to all my other padded tights - is the just the cut?

Any other suggestions for cycling kit?

The cut is generous, with me being short legged and a little wide in the middle I look a little like a cycling Nora Batty in mine. ^_^

The warmest tights I have are Gore bibs so that would not be your thing.

I don't like the cold either but I recommend layering up (also means that you can use lighter weight shorts etc all year round) Find longs without padding and wear them on top of your current shorts/3/4 length - you can even use running tights ie I used to have Nike ones but rarely wear them as I find my long and bibs do the trick.

Just ordered some winter cruisers and a polar buff. I think I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to the cold
It's OK, I don't think anyone has noticed
Another Winter cruiser wearer here, they are slightly generous compared to other cycling gear, I am similar height to Daver and wear a large, they are comfy and warm though.
