Brakes - which is liked better?

sort of a ask what people think of.

V brakes
cable disk
or hydraulic disk

i quiet liked cable disk, ad proved quiet reliable as V brakes im just not sure of hydraulic. i donk know if its the feel or work they work well but its the feel if that makes sense. anyone else or is it just me.

think it could be adjustment ? just a ask i don't feel as confident with them

Anyone using CATOBAR systems for braking?

I always found my V-Brakes easier to maintain than my Hydraulic Discs, but the V-Brakes needed far more pad changes than the discs so swings and roundabouts.

i agree, i do like V brakes find that discs are better in the wet and muddy stuff more than anything

Feet down is most reliable.

As a bonus if you fit segs the sparks mean you don't need a rear light.

I like any brakes that actually stop me. For ease of maintenance my roller drum brakes are great.

Hydraulic discs, never had to do any maintenance to the ones fitted to my bikes.
