Depends how I'm breathing tomorrow. Had a bad chesty cough for the last 10 days or so, which is finally abating, but still couldn't really have exercised today. May be able to tomorrow.

Just back from a ride along the Mekong here in Nakhon Phanom - jolly nice it was too - will do another this evening.

A misty, drizzly day here ... I had a 17km ride this afternoon (in and around SBdM). Notable mostly for the idiots driving without lights - visibility in places was barely more than 100m. However, although it's a working day here, I think most people are on holiday .. so traffic was light.

No photos, sorry - it just wasn't worth carrying my camera.

Got my 50km ride ,a misty ride a standard loop of Mine on mainly quiet roads expect for Market Bosworth which was near gridlock ,thankfully I was on my bike to filter past everyone 😁. Traffic caused by the local hunt meeting in the Market Square

We went over to Wolfsburg yesterday to see the German side of my family, so this morning whilst my wife drove home with the kids and dog I decided to ride home.

Flushed by a recent success with cycle.travel, I decided to ask it to come up with an interesting gravel ride home. I set off into the mist with the thermometer showing a balmy 6°C The next 72,6 km was a fantastic ride through places I had no knowledge of, the mist and solitude making it feel I as if I was alone in the world, adrift in a time and place with no name.

Overall I was really impressed with the route and will definately be riding it again in the future. All told 72,6km, the best part of 90% on gravel and forest roads.
