Can get the Cambridge from CS for £650 with hydraulic discs and carbon forks according to their site, in a large though so you'd need to be 5'10+
Specialized and Trek don't seem to put carbon forks on their disc braked bikes
I bought the Whyte exactly for use in an urban environment, so that's poppycock - the R7 series is precisely designed for fast commuting!
I am around at weekend, weather permitting, can ride over to Croydon. My Whyte is a medium (good for 5'5-5'10ish)
I have had two Sirruses, wouldn't have another, no particular reason, just too common and uninspiring for me, they have got duller too aesthetically
