Only buy a Cadenza if you want to buy another one every month.
If you do buy one buy a pannier or rucksack too, that will give you somewhere to keep all the bits that fall off as you ride along, and the socket set that you will need to keep the folding joint tight, and the first aid kit for when said joint fails.

Thanks for all that folks! I will be reading the 'what new bike will I get ....' threads over the next few months with increased interest! And no doubt will have some of my own questions to add!

Pug 206 and my Gfs Clio have had my TT bike in the back with the front wheel off(pretty long-ish bike, but i think my normal fixed is abit longer and its had that in with just the front wheel off.
Just fold the seats down and it goes in.
Or, if youer boot is big enough, my fixed has gone into my dads cars boot without having any seats down, with just the front wheel off.

No need for the folding bike, unless you have a small-ish car and might have people in the back?

Probably depends on your frame size too
3 of my bikes have 61cm frame & I have to take both wheels off to get it into my wife's car (fiat punto), even with all back seats down

I'm looking at changing my car soon, but will probably get a bike roof rack instead of a car to fit the bike

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
If you are getting really serious about cycling, sell the Rav 4 and get an estate - Ford Focus for example, then you don't even have to bother to take the front wheel off!

Joan, you have seen my bike and that got into the back of a micra a few weeks ago, with the front wheel off -

( for the record I don't drive a micra  )

I've transported seven bikes at the same time.
Two on the cycle carriers on the roof
One bolted to the roof bars with exhaust clamps between the roof bars
Two on a rear mounted bike carrier
One in the hatch with the front wheel off
And a folder on the passenger seat.

I could have got another in the back if I needed to.

My car? A Fiat Cinquecento.

Anything's possible if you apply yourself....
