Stupid question 🚨. Is Uncle Drago Cleat?
I only ask, as I've just clocked his advice thread, and had a flashback.
Link please

Isn't it the choice of freehub rather than the wheels that makes the particularly loud noise? If you put an ordinary Shimano freehub on a whatever brand of wheel it'd be relatively quiet wouldn't it?

I don't know because I don't have a vast array of wheels and freehubs to experiment on.
You are correct. Another solution is adding grease.

I'm sure you could, but I'm not going to go out and buy fairly expensive wheels that I immediately have to replace the freehub on.

So many new members. Cant all be real. Or Cycling enthusiasts. I NEVER see so many actual real people outside on the roads.

At least half must be Chinese based BOTS......

Brian will be along shortly to put you right and tell you that he's an EU based BOT ^_^

One thing we've omitted to tell the BRFR is that once every 12 months there is a 3-hour CC Forum Rules refresher course, delivered online, with a simple 100-question quiz at the end to check that everything has been taken in. The pass standard is 87%, and a graph will be published of the results, with one axis unlabelled and the other not starting at 0.
