We all think it was a build up of stuff offline and a bit of harmless ribbing on one of the threads (usual stuff about money/housing/boomers etc) caused him to spectacularly lose it. Quite a few forum members were caught in the crossfire!

It wasn't even ribbing. It was just trying to work out how something that had changed wasn't different according to him. It was most bizarre, but I think he needed a break anyway.

Yep, a break was the best thing for him. I really did think he would come back but I guess having dropped 'Apocalypse Now' levels of napalm on the forum perhaps he thought he wouldn't be taken back.

Anyways... so is the Mundane thread the new Days with complex titles? Where is Trivial Annoy? Intrigue?
I've had a busy day of medical appts, last ran too late so missed buses, lots of walking and knees feeling well knacked, an hour spent hanging around in the increasing cold even with 4 layers, quite how obese lots of youngsters are, quite how irritatingly noisy on a bus can parents be, thereby encouraging their kids. Etc etc.
Recovery glass #2 well done now... will be a good sleep tonight 🤞

Pfft. I, erm, see what you mean about the contrast with our former abode. Will see how it goes and review.
I posted a Tennis news thread but don’t think there are many tennis fans in CC. You can see the change in his demeanour over the past year on court, playing with real belief and winning big titles is the norm and part of the process. Hopefully the clay court season doesn’t derail his progress.
