Probably a bit of OCD but I like to keep my bike spotless especially being white

I was it with hot soapy water is it advisable to give it a polish every so often?

It's full carbon and have read somewhere that you shouldn't polish carbon bikes wouldn't have a clue if this is true or not

I think the definition of polish should be clarified here. Just like on a car, you would only polish a bike if you wanted to get scratches or blemishes out. There is no gain otherwise and you risk making the finish worse if you dont brake down the polish properly too. What you can do is get it nice and clean, as per your current routine, and then apply a sealant on top. That gives it a nice glossy finish, whilst also protecting it from the elements too. Also means the dirt doesn't stick so easily.

AutoGlym Super Resin contains and abrasive for polishing. If you want a High St alternative, without abrasives in it, then AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection sealant is a better purchase. You could use a true wax instead, but this wont last anywhere near as long as a sealant.

I used Wolfgang Sealant on mine when I first got it. Lasts forever on my car in the elements 24/7. Even better on bikes.

Honestly don't you know that it should only be cleaned with the flaxen golden hair of a nubile virgin with special bike cleaner that comes at £10000 a bottle then polished by the finest angel feathers and fettled by the creator himself
