Yes, all good for the cash, have a look at the various styles they have to see what you have - you've basically mountain bike 'trail' ones, and also road helmets, or the XC (cross country) ones look on on road and MTB. But it all depends on your head shape. Best bet is go down to a Decathlon if you have one near you - they have good bikes and kit.

Not if it doesn’t fit you and is uncomfortable, no. Which was the case for me with a PX lid. Cost me about £13 in delivery and return postage

Either will work, well it has worked for me in the past.

It is called bike computer with GPS, not cyclemeter.
Sometimes they come with a fitting to attach them on the bike, other times you have to buy the fitting yourself.

Not sure: here in Scotland it's night all day during the winter!
