Sorry - Not Noddy related.

Big Ears is here for her holidays

I won't be doing much cycling this next week , it's rucksacks, maps and butties for me ;).

Just been for a walk down the woods with her and two of the cats. Great stuff .

Looking forward to exploring my local environs a bit better. I haven't done much since moving in April as walking without a dog feels odd.

Lovley dog Longers enjoy your time with her .

Thanks. We've had the best week imaginable ;).

The weather couldn't have been better, all the mud and peat has been frozen solid and I've only needed to give her a towelling off once.

We've been out here and there every day, we've been "knocking off" local landmarks. Each day has brought new ones to visit the following day.

The walks have been urban, suburban, rural and almost wild in their aspects. All good and all circuits or loops from my back door.

She's been wonderfully obedient, all the non verbal commands have worked.

Having pedalled less than 15 miles this week I think I've now got my appetite for cycling back and am itching to get out again. Will base a few rides on stitching together some of these walks with regards to local knowledge.

Some photo's from todays trundle.

Just down the road.

These sheep worried her. Really.

fancy getting the MTB out sometime soon?

Aye, needs a bit of a fettle first mind, but nothing too serious. Was thinking along similar lines today.

She's VERY cute!! Have you only borrowed her? Keep her!! Pretend she ran off or something and hide her in a cupboard till they're gone!

She is mine actually. Had her for 4 years from 12 month old but re-homed her* in April as I moved and it meant too long in the house on her own.

Hard thing to do but it was best for her.

*with my ma and pa so I've got excellent visiting rights.

She's a lovely dog Longers. Must have been hard to re-home her, even though it was your parents. Left ours for the first time this weekend, with a very good dogminder. She reports he's already played out the other dogs and when he was asked, said "Owners? What owners"
