Expecting my second pair of Aeron Pros to be delivered today.

They're smaller fitting than any of the other dhb items I've bought in the past although I think the whole dhb range has shrunk slightly over the past year or two.

They look good though and fit well.

Certainly very good quality and despite wanting to get Assos or Castelli really, I just couldn't justify paying twice as much. I don't think they'll be twice as good/comfortable/durable - but I may be wrong.

Only criticism (probably my fault) is that the white parts of the black/white pair I bought have turned a bit grey over numerous washes and the elastic at the base of the legs has gone a bit tatty now but they've had a decent amount of use.

Gone for black/black this time.

Hubby swears by his dhb bib shorts and am considering a pair but as a lady I can't just tinkle over the top without the aid of a funnel and length of hose pipe...so am asking myself...as a lady (technically)...are they worth the hassle???

I have some dhb 3/4 bibs in a Roubaix fabric and they're definitely my favourite cycling garment. The pad is stiff enough that it doesn't crease but it's not too fat and squidgy. They are warm and fit well, perfect for chilly Spring or Autumn rides. Somehow keeping the thigh muscles warm while not overheating me seems to benefit my cool weather cycling.

I usually manage to find somewhere more discrete. They are more comfortable, but there are other considerations to take into account, like the need to remove your top first to get them off... so a wall, building or denser undergrowth/ditch is/can needed... but then dropping your shorts is not that different either. Your other consideration is blunty, cup size and the style you go for, plus your build (are you the same size waist as bust in normal clothing?). Some are double straps, run up either side of the breast, some are double with a zip up the middle going over the breasts and some are a single strap that runs between the breasts... In addition there is 1 make (Gore Bike Wear) that have a model that includes 2 zips at the back to allow 'squatting access'. It is a bit of mine field to say the least.

For winter, I really apprecaite the extra warmth I get from the bib tights I have, they add an extra layer of cloth over my nipples which hurt like **** when they get really cold. For summer, having tried all of the above, I settled on Assos 3/4 length & Assos short shorts, no bibs. Simpler, easier, more comfortable and the assos kit is worth its money. my shorts are tight where they need to be but are not tight or uncomfortable around the waist at all on any bike.

 now I am really baffled!!! I am rather well endowed in the bosom department unfortunately!! It was all the faffing with taking tops off that was niggling at me more than anything. But now do I go around the mountains...through the pass...or cover them completely??? Arrrrggghhh lol. Might just get some for winter for extra warmth lol...I agree on the cold nipples thing...ouch!!!

they may have been set-up as a joke, but they are the most pathetic set of rules i have ever set my eyes on

ride and wear what you want and forget the snobbery of others

You may or may not like them but now you are aware of them they apply to you. It's a bit like 'The Game'.

Mine have arrived. Fit is fantastic. Feel nice and comfortable. I would say that in terms of cycling lycra sizes that dhb are fairly generous.

Must say I seem to get on very well with the Impsport bib shorts, they for many years made the national team kits so they have a history of knowing what cyclist need. I have about 7 or 8 pairs from different manufacturers all good quality, but the Impsport one's come out the most.

As for peeing, down the leg or over the top, having larger thighs over the top is the preferred method, not had a problem yet, well maybe on extremely cold days when the old fellow does not want to come out to play and the piece of ribbon attached to him has come off.
